Rupee opens flat at 39.50/52 against USD

Mumbai, Feb 7: The Rupee opens almost flat against at 39.50/52 from its previous close of 39.5150/5250 per dollar following the flat trading in the Indian equity market.

Resuming the day on flat note, the Indian unit was trading in a range-bound gap between 39.46 and 39.52 per dollar as there was balanced demand and supply in the inter-bank foreign exchange (Forex) market, dealers said. Further the rupee is expected to follow the trends in the local market moving on the note of global cues, dealers added.
