Respite for people in city as minimum temperature rises
Mumbai, Feb 7 (UNI) There was some respite for people today from the chilly weather in the Metropolis and other parts of Maharashtra with the minimum temperature rising to 13.7 degrees celsius in the city, which experienced the coldest day in February on Wednesday.
The minimum temperature recorded at Colaba was 15.4 degrees and the maximum 23.4 degrees, while at Santacruz the maximum temperature was 23.2 and minimum 13.7 degrees, a Weather bureau official said.
In Nasik, which was also reeling under a severe cold wave, conditions were slightly better as the minimum temperature rose to 8 from 6.2 degrees yesterday. In Pune, it was 10.9 degrees at the minimum and in Aurangabad, the minimum temperature was 13.4 degrees celsius.
