r Shantanu Consul appointed Secretary, Border Management in MHA

New Delhi, Feb 7 (UNI) The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr Shantanu Consul as the Secretary Border Management in the Home Ministry.

Mr Consul, an IAS officer of Karnataka cadre of 1974 batch is presently Administrator of the Universal Services Operational Fund, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

Mr K Jose Cyriac an IAS officers of Kerala cadre of 1977 batch has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.

Mr S K Sood, who is Secretary in the National Commission for the Scheduled Castes, has been repatriated to his cadre of Himachal Pradesh with immediate effect.

Mr Raghubir Singh has been appointed as the Secretary in the National Commission for Scheduled Caste in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Mr Singh, who is presently Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare would replace Mr Sood.
