Port and Depot to be set up near Bikaner

Bikaner, Feb 7 (UNI) A dry port and a container depot will be set up near here to facilitate export of Bikaner's popular Bhujia, Papad, Wool, Ceramics and Gwar gum to various countries.

District Industries Centre Spokesman R S Awasthi said a project report, estimating an investment of Rs 10 crore, was being sent to the Centre for due clearnace.

Mr Awasthi said around 600 bigha land had been identified for the proposed project near Darbari village on the Bikaner-Kolayat Road.
