Mumbai incident ''politically motivated'': Kripashankar
Jaunpur, Feb 7 (UNI) Congress senior leader and former Maharashtra Minister for Home Kripashankar Singh today condemned the attack on north Indians in Mumbai.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Singh said: ''Mumbai belongs to every citizen of India and cannot be divided on the basis of caste or community.'' Making a scathing attack on the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and a few other political parties, he said: ''Distributing food and clothes would have been the better option over cannes and weapons'' Mumbai is nation's pride and dividing it on caste, language and community lines is unjustified on every ground, the leader asserted.
