MNS leader shot dead in Pune
Pune, Feb 7 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) taluka president Anna Laxman Bandal alias Sandeep was shot dead by unidentified persons in Suburban Kothrud here today.
Police said Bandal, who was president of Bhoir taluka in the district, had come to the city to meet his uncle and the incident took place after he was returning.
Bandal was an estate agent, police said adding the motive behind the murder was still to be ascertained.
''It could be business rivalry but this aspect has to be checked, police sources said.
