MNS leader shot dead by unidentified assailants in Pune

Mumbai, Feb 7 (UNI) A leader of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) was allegedly shot dead by some unidentified assailants in Pune today.

''Sandeep Bandal was shot dead when he was going to meet some people near the Lata Mangeshkar hospital in Pune this afternoon,'' the party's city unit president Deepak told UNI.

He, however, denied that the slain leader had any political rivalry with anybody.
