HP Learning Solutions launched in NE

Guwahati, Feb 7 (UNI) HP Learning Solutions (HPLS), a comprehensive one-stop IT solution for academic and administrative purposes in schools for Northeast, was launched here today.

The country manager of HP Learning Solutions V Sukumar informed that the package is targeted at providing a one-stop solution for all information communication and technology needs of a school academic to administrative needs.

HP has also included support for the package for four years after purchase so that the schools do not have a problem later, he added.

Schools will have flexibility in choosing the category of package they needed, depending upon need and financial considerations, Mr Sukumar said adding that the package would be available at Rs 10 lakh, Rs 14 lakh and Rs 18 lakh.

He also informed that HP had tied up with ICICI Smart Finance for providing loan facilities to the schools.

The academic contents have been designed to meet the requirements of the particular examination board the school follows, with the teachers also enabled to add to the contents at later date, Mr Sukumar added.

He said the package, now designed from class I to class XII, would later be expanded to meet needs of colleges, especially engineering colleges.

More than 50 schools from Guwahati participated in the programme, with many enticing interest in procuring the HP Learning Solutions package for their schools.
