Four die after consuming poison in south Bihar village

Hajipur, Feb 7 (UNI) A young housewife and her three children died after consuming poison at Shambhopur Kawari village in south Bihar's Vaishali district today.

Police sources here said the 25-year-old woman allegedly took the extreme step following a family dispute even as her husband was away in Pune for work. All the four died on the spot and their bodies had been sent for post-mortems.

The children were aged between six months and three years, the sources said, adding that a probe had since been ordered.
