Fed Cup shifted to Bhopal, Haryana trials as scheduled

Chandigarh, Feb 6 (UNI) The 14th Federation Cup National Senior Athletic Championship will now be held in Bhopal instead of Patiala from February 26 to 29.

Postponement was necessistated due to some technical reasons, Haryana Amateur Athletic Association secretary HS Bhadu said here today.

The trials for selection of Haryana State will be held as per shechdule at CRA College Sonepat on Februray 10, he said.

The athletes, who meet the qualifying standards laid down by the Athletic Federation of India, will be selected on the basis of their performance in the trials, he added.
