Court to decide BSP MP's fate tomorrow
Jaunpur, Feb 7 (UNI) Charges against the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP and main accused in a gram pradhan murder case Umakant Yadav, who was today produced in local court amid tight security, could not be framed due to the absence of another accused Chandra Shekhar Yadav.
According to official sources, Chandra Shekhar Yadav remained absent in the court as he was undergoing treatment in hospital.
However, District Judge Shivanand Mishra cancelled the plea demanding exemption of personal appearance of Chandra Shekhar in the court and fixed the hearing for tomorrow.
On August 24, Shyam Kanhiya Yadav, Pradhan of Japtapur village in Saray Khwaja area, was allegedly shot dead by Umakant and his four aides.
