Cabinet nod for India-Zambia taxation agreement
New Delhi, Feb 7 (UNI) In a move that would stimulate investment between India and Zambia, the Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing of an agreement between the two countries for avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.
The agreement is expected to increase the flow of investment, technology and services from India to Zambia and vice versa.
It will also provide tax stability to the residents of India and Zambia and facilitate mutual economic cooperation, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said after the Cabinet meeting.
