Teachers demand exclusive higher secondary directorate
Tiruchirapalli, Feb 6 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Schools Post Graduate Teachers Association today urged the State Government to establish an exclusive directorate for higher secondary education.
Talking to newspersons here, Association State President V Manivasagan said all private higher secondary school PG teachers should be given time bound promotions, concessions and other benifits on par with government higher secondary schools.
He alleged that there was a long delay in availing a loan from the teachers Providend Fund and urged the government to avoid such unwarrented delay.
The Association would conduct its third state level conference on February 29, he added.
