SP demands dismissal of Mayawati govt in UP

Lucknow, Feb 6 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) senior leader and leader of the opposition in legislative council Ahamad Hasan today demanded dismissal of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government charging of with creating a state of anarchy in UP.

While addressing a press conference here, Mr Hasan said the Mayawati-led UP government had failed on all fronts and was running a corrupt regime, thus the Governor should dismiss it with immediate effect.

He further charged the BSP government with framing the opposition leaders, especially the SP, leaders out of political vendetta.

Their is a noticiable increase in the crime rate as the government had failed in maintaining 'law and order' in the state, he underlined.

On the UP police recruitment scam, he said the SP had nothing to do with the scam and all the charges against the party were baseless.
