Security beefed up at Ram Janmabhoomi

Ayodhya, Feb 6: Security has been beefed up at the sensitive Ram Janmabhoomi complex, following the detention of three youths wandering suspiciously in the temple arena.

Shaukat Ali, Muneer Ahmad and Zahid Shah -- all residents of Faizabad -- were taken into custody late last evening after being spotted suspiciously inside the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, Police Superintendent (city) Gopesh Nath Khanna today said. Police also recovered Pakistani currency from of one of these youths, he informed. The trio, however, were later released after interrogation.
