Reliance Mobile slashes Prepaid rates to 10 paisa in Punjab

Chandigarh, Feb 6 (UNI) Reliance Communications today launched First Recharge Voucher (FRC) of Rs 299 and Special Tariff Voucher (STV) of Rs 77 in Punjab.

Under FRC 299, calls can be made to any Reliance phone at the rate of 10 paisa per minute whereas 50 paisa and Re 1 per minute will be charged for making call to mobile and landline respectively of any other telecom company in Punjab.

The FRC is available with free additional talktime of Rs 100 for making calls on any telecom operator's network with six months validity for all new connections.

By its another move for Punjab market, Reliance Communications has announced night time calling absolutely free in Punjab by offering Special Tariff Voucher (STV) of Rs 77.

Under STV 77, now subscribers can make call absolutely free during night (2000 hrs to 0600 hrs) all over Punjab from Reliance Mobile to Reliance Mobile whereas call during day time from Reliance Mobile to any Reliance Phone can be made at the rate of 30 paise per minute.

Besides this, 50 paisa and 99 paisa per minute will be charged for making calls to mobile and landline respectively of other telecom companies.

Announcing these offers, Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Circle, Sanjeev Garg said, "With these Offers, we have not only radically reduced the cost of staying mobile but also made the cost of going mobile extremely affordable.'' UNI JN JS1655
