Publications Divisions's book on water released at World Book fair

New Delhi, Feb 06 (UNI) As part of its activities in the ongoing 18th New Delhi World Book Fair, Publications Division of the Government today brought out its book 'Lok Mein Jal' at a function today.

Released by renowned author and scholar Prof Pushpesh Pant, the book is written by celebrated author Dr Shyamsundar Dubey.

Exploring the sources, usage and availability of water, the book also points out the scarcity and need for its conservation and protection in today's world.

The book takes one along on a tour to folklore, history, culture, literature, language, mythology, traditions and all spheres of life related to water. It book revolves around the fact that there could be no life without water.

This well researched book written in a simple language is expected to interest the common man and scholar alike.

The Director and Chief Editor of 'Yojana' welcomed the guests at the function.
