Police bust gang making fake registration documents
Hyderabad, Feb 6 (UNI) Police has bust a gang engaged in fabricating registration documents worth Rs 10 crore in Survey of India Society and Gurukul Trust situated in Mahadpur on the city outskirts.
Addressing a press conference here today, Cyberabad Police Commissioner S Prabhakar Reddy said the police arrested six members of a nine-member gang yesterday and the search was on to nab the remaining three accused.
On interrogation, the accused confessed to have fabricated registration documents and sold the plots to gullible public.
The incident came to light when the original plot owner lodged a complaint with police when a person, who purchased the plot from the accused, was constructing a compound wall in the plot.
