MNS activists hold demonstrations in Nashik
Nashik, Feb 6 (UNI) Activists of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) held demonstrations at Pathardi Phata area of the city today.
As part of the MNS' agitation against north Indians, some activists of the Party gathered at Pathardi Phata this morning and tried to burn an effigy of Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh but could not succeed due to police intervention, sources said.
They shouted slogans in support of Party president Raj Thackeray and against north Indians.
No arrests have been made in this connection so far and the situation is stated to be under control.
