Tripura: Militant kills a tribal in Sidhai

Agartala, Feb 06: All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) militants have shot dead a tribal youth in north Agartala under Sidhai police station area yesterday.

Police said here today that the militant killed one Dilip Debbarma (37) in Modibari area while he was asleep.

The CPI (M) has claimed the deceased to be its party worker and accused opposition INPT of the killing.

However, the INPT members has alleged that the CPI(M) cadres killed the Debbarma as he had joined their party after leaving CPI(M).

Meanwhile, Assam Rifles jawans have arrested three NLFT (BM) cadres and recovered two factory made 9mm pistol, one .22 revolver and eight rounds ammunition from them in Taliamura police station area of West Tripura.
