Expedite Patan gangrape case in Fast Track Court: Fr Prakash

Ahmedabad, Feb 6 (UNI) Father Cedric Prakash, a prominent social activist, has urged the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to intervene and ensure expeditious justice in the Patan gangrape case.

Fr Prakash has urged the NHRC to ensure that the case is taken up in a Fast Track Court.

He termed the plight of girl student as a clear violation of human rights and human dignity. ''It becomes all the more odious when these things happen in a Centre of learning,'' he added.
