CPI leader resents CPI(M)'s 'big brother' attitude

Alappuzha, Feb 6 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPI) National Secretary C K Chandrappan MP today accused a section of the CPI(M) leadership in Kerala of trying to impose its decisions on the LDF.

Inaugurating the CPI Alappuzha district conference at Kayamkulam, near here, Mr Chandrappan said certain controversial decisions were not discussed in the LDF.

''Some CPI(M) leaders work with a mindset that all constituent parties in the LDF must obey them. Those who question them are dubbed as revisionists'', Mr Chandrappan said.

He regretted that issues related to the education sector, including change in the Kerala Education Rules, were not widely discussed by the LDF with the constituent members and others.
