Coldwave conditions in western MP
Bhopal, Feb 6 (UNI) Coldwave conditions prevailed in western Madhya Pradesh where the state capital and several other places witnessed cloudy skies and icy winds.
''A coldwave continued today in Malwa region's Ujjain division,'' said a Regional Meteorological Centre official. Ujjain was the state's coldest at 4 degrees Celsius, Neemuch, Ratlam and Rajgarh recorded lows of 6 C while Guna, Indore, Khandwa and Naugaon recorded lows of 7 to 8 C.
Cyclonic circulation exists over north-western Madhya Pradesh and a trough has formed between Karnataka and Chhattisgarh. Jabalpur division's Malajkhand recorded 14 mm rain overnight. Isolated thundershowers are likely in all divisions over the next 24 hours.
