CM happy over good response to housing scheme
Hyderabad, Feb 6 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said 'Rajiv Swagruha', a housing scheme for middle class families, was getting good response.
While reviewing the implementaion of the scheme with State Housing Minister B Satyanarayana and officials here he said the government would construct 69,400 'swagruhas' in the first phase and develop 35 townships, availing bank loans.
A special mechanism would be set up to maintain quality in the construction of houses. The scheme would cost the government Rs 12,800 crore, he added.
