Bank official receives bullet injury

Hyderabad, Feb 6 (UNI) A senior official of a leading private bank here sustained bullet injuries, when a gun held by a person in the bank premises ''went off'', today.

V Srikanth, Deputy Manager of HDFC Barkatpura branch, was rushed to a private hospital here, police said. He was stated to be ''out of danger''.

The 'accident' occured when building owner B Srikanth was showing his newly-bought weapon to him, police said.

A case was registered against him for ''negligence'', police added.
