Aganwadi Centres closed till Feb 9 due to intense cold

Chandigarh, Feb 6 (UNI) The Aganwadi Centres in Punjab would remain closed from February 6 to February 9 due to the ongoing intense cold wave sweeping the region.

Stating this here today Punjab Social Security and Development of women and Children Minister Swarna Ram said that the decision had been taken in the larger public interest to protect the children admitted in the State Aganwadi Centres.

The Government had last week shut the primary schools due to the cold wave.
