5-year-old girl raped by drunker man

Ramanathapuram, Feb 6 (UNI) A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped at Athiyuthu village near here this evening.

Police said the culprit, who was in an inebriated condition, took the girl to a remote location and assaulted her.

On hearing the girl's cry, passersby rushed to the spot and rescued the girl.

The man was handed over to the police and the girl was rushed to the nearby hospital, police added.
