4 booked for thrashing BSP MLA

Ballia, Feb 6 (UNI) Four people have been booked for allegedly thrashing and attempting to murder a ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA here.

A case was registered by BSP worker Ranjeet Kumar in a GRP station.

As per the FIR, Pankaj Singh and his three associates had thrashed BSP MLA Ghura Ram when he was about to embark upon a train late last night, GRP sources said.

Wherein, the quartet exchanged hands with the MLA and attempted to take his life, besides using abusive language.

Police is yet to make any arrest in this regard.
