Two Pak militants killed in Sunderbani encounter

Jammu, Feb 5 (UNI) Two Pakistani militants were gunned down by the security forces in fierce gun battle in tehsil Sunderbani of Rajouri district this evening, defence spokesman here said.

On specific information, troops of 18 J&K rifles launched a search operation in village Bindigala, some two kilometres from Sunderbani, official sources said.

''The militants opened fire on the search party, which was retaliated by the troops in which two Pakistani militants were gunned down,'' defence spokesman Lt Col S D Goswami told UNI.

However, their identity is yet to be ascertained. One UBGL, two AK 47 rifles and one pistol were recovered from the slain militants, he said.
