Mandira Bedi's dress designer summoned
Indore, Feb 5 (UNI) A local court today issued summons to actress-turned-television presenter Mandira Bedi's dress designer Puneet Nanda and a TV channel director to appear before it by February 25 in a case relating to Mandira wearing a sari sporting the Tricolour towards the lower side while presenting a programme in April 2007 during the ICC World Cup.
A complaint against Mandira and the others was submitted in May by Mr Indrajeet Singh Bhatiya who alleged insult to the national flag.
Judicial Magistrate Shubhra Singh issued the summons. Mandira was summoned earlier but obtained a High Court stay.
