Lorry driver fined for polluting environment
Puducherry, Feb 5(UNI) A local court today fined a lorry driver, hailing from Namakkal in Tamil Nadu on charges of polluting enviornment here.
Police said R Chinnadurai (30), who was, carrying decayed eggs to Puducherry from Namakkal, started dumping it on the east coast road at Lawspet.
Based on the information, the driver was arrested and produced before the Puducherry District and Session Judge, who imposed a fine of Rs 250 on him.
