HDFC slashes home loan rates
New Delhi, Feb 2, 2008 : There seems to be some good news for people who have taken a loan with a floating interest rate to buy their dream homes.
HDFC, the leader in the home finance business, has decided to cut floating interest rates on home loans for all its existing customers by 25 basis points. According to sources, HDFC said that it would cut its retail prime lending rate or RPLR by 25 basis points to 13.75 pc per annum from the earlier 14 pc.
