20 people killed in a blast in Sri Lanka

Dambulla, Sri Lanka, Feb 2, 2008 : At least 20 people were killed and around 50 wounded when a bomb blast hit a civilian bus in the central Sri Lankan town of Dambulla on February 2.

The town is around 150 km north of the capital city Colombo. The bus's roof was partly blown off, windows were shattered and the vehicle's steel frame bent and torn.
