TN CM's son appears before AP court in murder case
Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Feb 4 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's son M K Azhagiri, the main accused in the case relating to the murder of former DMK minister T Kiruttinan, appeared before a local court today.
First Additional District Sessions Judge P Durgaprasad adjourned the hearing in the case to February 11 without any arguments after Mr Azhagiri appeared before him along with 12 accused.
This is third time he had appeared before the court after the case was transferred to Chittoor district following a Supreme Court order on a petition filed by one of the witnesses who expressed apprehensions about a free and fair trial in Tamil Nadu under the DMK regime.
Mr Kiruttinan was murdered near his residence in Madurai on May 20, 2003.
