Three teenagers die in mishap in Punjab
Muktsar, Feb 4 (UNI) Three teenagers died and four others sustained injuries when the jeep in which they were travelling collided head on with a truck near Rupana village on Muktsar-Malout road last night, police today stated.
The deceased were identified as Manpreet (13) and his 17-year old sister Veerpal Kaur and Harpreet Kaur (19). They were all residents of Chak Girjewal village and were going to Malout alongwith their parents to attend a wedding.
The injured included Sohan Singh, father of Manpreet, Sukhwinder Kaur, Parminder Kaur, mother of Harpreet Kaur and jeep driver Gurpyar Singh.
The police has registered a case against the truck driver.
