Three injured in landslide at Saptashring Garh
Nashik, Feb 3 (UNI) Three people received minor injuries due to landslide at Saptashring Garh, abode of Goddess Saptashringi, a famous pilgrimage centre, near Vani in Dindori taluka of this district late tonight.
According to police sources, three people were injured when some large stones fell on the metal sheet roof of the Goddess Saptashringi temple situated at Saptashring Garh near Vani here at around 23.15 hrs late tonight. The three with minor injuries, have been shifted to Nashik Civil Hospital for treatment. The three included two trustees of the Temple Trust Motiram Barde, Ambadas Pawar and a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus driver from Manmad depot Kishore Sonawane.
The landslide has damaged the metal roof to a large extent. Its repairing will take some time and during this period, the Darshan of the Goddess will not be allowed. Devotees can take Darshan of the Goddess from the steps but cannot enter the temple as a security precaution, sources said.
