Singapore Airlines set to tap Gujarati tourists
Ahmedabad, Feb 4 (UNI) With a view to tap the phenomenal growth in overseas holiday tours among the Gujaratis, the Singapore Airlines (SA) has chalked out a new strategy, Gujarat Manager of SA Ranjan Jha said today.
In an interview with UNI, Mr Jha said, ''The SA has developed a new strategy to tap this newly growing over-seas tours craze among higher middle class Indians, particularly Gujaratis.'' ''As a part of this strategy, the Company has introduced four amazing deals covering major tourist destinations of Asia.
These four deals are Singapore (Rs 15,999), Kuala Lumpur/ Penang (Rs 19,999), Manila/ Jakarta/ Hongkong/ Guangzhou (Rs 26,999) and Seoul/ Shanghair/ Beijing/ Nanjing/ Osaka/ Nagoya/ Fukuoka/ Tokyo (Rs 32,999),'' Mr Jha said.
The SA Manager claimed that ''With a view to win the confidence of passengers travelling by our airlines all these deals have been tagged with attractive prices.'' ''The Airlines, after its four years of experience in Gujarat, coupled with an annual growth of double digits, is going to stay here forever. As part of this, our schedule of three flights a week would soon cover passengers travelling to West Coast, USA, Australia and other destinations of the world from here,'' he added.
Disclosing
the
future
plans
of
the
SA,
Mr
Jha
said,
''We
are
expecting
to
mount
more
flights
from
the
city
as
approval
from
the
Indian
Government
is
at
very
advanced
stage.''
