Religious extremism planned in Pak since 1960s: MQM chief

Karachi, Feb.4 : Religious extremism has been promoted in Pakistan through an organised plan since the 1960s, claimed Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday.

"New terms that were never heard before were coined and disseminated (in society)," the Daily Times quoted him as saying while addressing the MQM's Defence Clifton Resident Society, Research and Advisory Council and Cultural Literary Forum on phone from London.

He claimed that Pakistan's founding fathers had never used these terminologies.
