Priya Dutt condemns Mumbai violence

In a statement here, Ms Dutt said, ''If a girl's school has been started in Uttar Pradesh, then we have to understand that Uttar Pradesh is also a part of India, as is Maharashtra. This school will benefit the girls of our country.''

''Let us not negate a positive action which has happened. This kind of violence and instigation should be condemned,'' she said.
''We are Indians first and then come our religions and castes,'' she added.
