Leaders held for obstructing Corporation's demolition drive

Hyderabad, Feb 4 (UNI) Tension prevailed at Basheerbagh area in the city today when leaders of CPI, CPI(M) and BJP were arrested for obstructing the demolition of illegal structures by Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Police said BJP State President Bandaru Dattatraya, CPI and CPI(M) Parliamentarians Aziz Pasha and Madhu were taken into custody for obstructing the corporation officials from discharging their duties.

Later, the arrested leaders were released.
