Government will introduce demand based technical trades: CM
Una , Feb 4 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said to State Government would be encouraging public private participation in all vocational courses to generate vast employment avenues by introducing demand based trades in technical institutions.
Chief Minister dedicated a Rs. 1.60 crore Academic Block of I.T.I, in Una to the students of the institution and laid the foundation stone of boys hostel, estimated to cost Rs. 35 lakh, apart of the Rs. 4 crore 'Center of Excellence' project of the I.T.I.
Mr. Dhumal addressing a public gathering here said State Government would not permit opening of teaching shops in the name of SCVT Centres, and only those which were competent, professionally qualified, financially sound to run such institutions would be extended all possible facilities to provide technical training to the youth in state.
