Dry weather prevailed in Karnataka

Bangalore, Feb 4 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures rose at many places being appreciably so at a few places over Interior Karnataka and rose at a few places over Coastal Karnataka. They were below normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka, however above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka.

Bagalkote recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 11.4 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Light rain likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore: Generally cloudy. Light rain likely.
