Bajaj's sales decline by 16 pc in Jan
Mumbai, Feb 4 (UNI) Bajaj Auto has registered a 16 per cent decline in its sales during the month of January.
In the two wheeler segment, net sales declined by 15 per cent to 167,592 units as compared to 197,553 units in the corresponding month last year. While, the net sales of three wheelers came down to 24,601 units from 32,030 during the same period, registering a 23 per cent decline on year-on-year basis, the Company informed BSE.
However, its export has increased by 9 per cent to 43,533 units over all from 39,812 units in the corresponding month last year.
Bajaj market share in the +125 cc segment also rose to an all-time high of 55 per cent in the third quarter of fiscal year 2007, the Company added.
