Auditorium in Kishore's memory is now a buffalo shed: Son
Indore, Feb 4 (UNI) Expressing concern over the condition of the Gauri Kunj auditorium built in late playback singer Kishore Kumar's memory at his birthplace Khandwa, his son Amit Kumar today alleged that the auditorium had become a buffalo shed.
''The government is guilty for the state of affairs. Attention should be paid to the auditorium. Should my family alone care for it? The government and public can also pitch in for maintenance,'' he said. Mr Kumar was here to attend a programme.
Pointing out that Congress leader and singer Vitthal Bhai Patel collected funds from people to improve the condition of the auditorium's he added that more such attempts could be made to link the public.
Singer and musician Bappi Lahiri, who accompanied mr Kumar, assured that he would endeavour to improve condition of the the auditorium.
