Kakinada, Feb 4 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Legislature Committee on Backward Classes Welfare would tour East Godavari District for two days from February seven.
After reaching Kakinada from Hyderabad on February six, the Committee would receive representations from backward classes employees, students and organisations the next day.
They would also review the implementation of various BC welfare programmes and also the rule of reservations in educational institutions with the Collector and other district officials.
The Committee would later visit BC welfare hostels in and around Kakinada. The next day, the committee would go to Annavaram Devasthanam, where it will review the implementation of rule of reservation in temple services. In the afternoon, the committee would return to Kakinada and inspect the housing schemes implementation in and around Kakinada.
