TN: 95 hurt in three different 'Jallikattu'

Tiruchirapalli, Feb 4: As many as 95 persons suffered injuries in three different 'Jallikattu' (bull fight) events in the district yesterday.

Police said as many as 30 persons were injured at Manjampatti Village, near Manapparai. They were locally treated. Meanwhile, Palanisamy (54) of Kattukudipatti Village in Sivaganga District died of severe cardiac arrest at the venue itself,police said. In an another incident at Lalgudi, near here, 30 persons were injured. All of them were treated at a health camp at the venue.

As many as 35 others suffered injuries in 'Jallikattu' at Chinna Suriyur Village, near here. They were treated at a local health camp and Government Headquarters Hospital here.
