2 inter-state smugglers held, cartridges seized

Jaunpur, Feb 4 (UNI) Police today nailed down two inter-state smugglers with the seizure of a large number of cartridges in Baksa area of the district.

Police Superintendent Lalji Shukla said Vinod Kumar and Keshav were nabbed during checking of vehicles under Baksa police station area.

Three pistols and many cartridges, including 14 AK-47, were recovered from the spot.

Meanwhile, the police team was rewarded with Rs 2,500 for arresting them.
