13 illegal Bangladeshis arrested, to be deported
New Delhi, Feb 4 (UNI) In its special drive to screen illegal immigrants in the capital, police have arrested 13 Bangladeshi nationals from Kalyanpuri area of east Delhi.
Presently under detention of the FRRO, those arrested would soon be deported to their native country, the police said today.
Their interrogation revealed that they migrated due to intense poverty.
The arrests were made during a raid, following a tip-off on illegal immigrants residing in the area.
While the youngest of those arrested is seven years of age, the eldest is 40 years old, police added.
