SCR introduces Garib Rath Express train

Hyderabad, Feb 3 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) introduced the tri-weekly Garib Rath express train between Secunderabad and Yesvantpur today, as announced by Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in the Railway Budget 2007.

The oldest railway woman employee of group 'D' service, Lakshmi Bhai flagged off the train from the Secunderabad railway station at 1915 hrs.

The train would connect Hyderabad, Secunderbad and Bangalore, according to a release.

Tatkal reservation facility was available and some berths were earmarked for physically challenged persons, the release added.
