Orissa editition of Sopan Step launched

Bhubaneswar, Feb 03 (UNI) The Orissa edition of the Sopan Step, a monthly bilingual developmental magazine was launched here today.

Releasing the first copy of the magazine, Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik hoped that the magazine would play a major role in educating the people on various schemes launched by the government for the rural development.

Sopan Step Editor K A Badarinath said the magazine would cater to the developmental activities and encourage the journalists to write on developmental projects.

Mr Badarinath announced to take up developmental projects in the state and to institute an annual award for journalists.
